Christmas Day

We spent Christmas Day in Oklahoma City with the Liston Family.
We started out celebrating with Grandma Lois for lunch,
and then headed to Grammy and Papa's for dinner.
Here is Grandma Lois with only part of her great-grandkids.
She has a lot!!

I love this picture!
Paige helped Grandma Lois open her presents.

Jake looks pretty excited to be hangin' out with Grammy.
Don't you think?

Paige loves her baby cousin, Jenna.

Christmas Morning

Our First Christmas in the new house......
This is what Jake asked Santa to bring him,
and he was super excited when he got it!

My baby loves girlie books!

Check out that smile

Santa brought Paige a pink vtech
so she can play video games too!

Christmas Morning was a lot of fun! I didn't sleep well the night before. I kept waking up checking the time. I just knew I would hear little foot steps coming down those stairs. We actually had to wake them up at 7:30. They must have been tired!

Christmas Eve

I love Christmas Eve! We started out my going to Christmas Eve Mass, which is by far my favorite mass of the year. Then we headed to Chilis to eat. It was nice to enjoy eating out since I had been cooking for days. The kids are so excited to see what Santa will bring them in the morning!

I'm going to take pictures like this until they won't let me!

A Dobson Christmas

Celebrating Christmas with my family is never dull, and this year was no different. This is the first Christmas in our new house, and I must say that it's everything I ever dreamed of. I love having enough space for everyone to be comfortable and a kitchen that can accommodate a lot of people. I have a big family! I look forward to many more celebrations in our home.

Friends Christmas

Tonight we celebrated Christmas with our special group of friends.
There are 14 kids between us, and boy-o-boy did they have fun!
Santa made a surprise visit!

Jake and Paige have been extra good this year.
They have seen Santa 3 times already!
This guy was pumped about his new dinosaur book.

Paige told Santa this time that she wanted a dog.
I hate to tell her that Santa won't be bringing one. Ha!

She waited so patiently to open her gift.

As you can tell, she loved her princess book!

The kids gathered for a story about the first Christmas.

Yummy hot chocolate was served after all the Christmas caroling. This might have been my favorite part of the evening. We went through the neighborhood and sang songs. There was one little old lady that was so precious. The kids totally made her day, probably even made her year, by singing to her. Good memories!

Hearing their little voices melts my heart.

Christmas Cookies

Charlie and Becky came over to make cookies for Santa with us. Harrison was sick and missed out on all the fun, but they made sure to decorate some for him. Sweet kids! They even wore their aprons, which added to the fun.
Their favorite part of the cooking making process was
picking the cookie cutter and pressing them into the dough.
Watching the cookies bake was very entertaining.
They got to eat the first cookies that came
out of the oven after they iced them.

I love this picture!

Santa will be sure to love his cookies this year!
They were made with love by three precious children.

Rock A Bye Christmas Baby

Paige had her dance Christmas dance recital tonight.
She was a little cranky before it started,
and just kinda stood there during the performance. I
still thought it was precious!

PS. I will download a video as soon as blogger let's me.
For some reason it's now downloading.

Paige sure knows how to make her Mama smile!

An Early Christmas

On Sunday we celebrated Christmas with my Dad and Nancy. Both sides of the family came it we had an absolute blast! Santa made a surprise visit and the looks on the children's faces were priceless. Santa was so good with the kids, and stayed and took pictures with all of the families. After he flew off in his sleigh we ate Mexican food and played Dirty Santa. I hope this becomes a regular tradition with the Dobson/Parrott families!

Dad and Nancy were such great hosts!

My little brother Jay and Natasha

My sweet little family

My brother John, Lindsay, Brylee, and Kyson.
John and Lindsay just got engaged and we couldn't be more happy!

My brother Jim with Annie and Mary Kate.
MK was a little scared of Santa at first, but she warmed right up to him
when he pulled out the gifts....ha!

Nancy even had a pinata for the occasion!

Here's the whole blended family!
