Sun N Fun

The kids love going to our local waterpark, Sun N Fun.

It's PC's version of a mini White Water!

We are having a great summer filled with LOTS of water fun!

Paige's Turn with Tennis

Paige wanted to have tennis lessons since Bubby and Mommy were taking them.

I signed her up for a 30 minute lesson and she loved it!

When we got in the car she said, "Mommy, now I can play tennis with Jake!"

Camp

My boy left for camp yesterday.

Real Camp.

Like I won't talk to him for 48 hours kind-of-camp.

I checked him in, made his bed, and he was ready for me to leave. My boy wouldn't even kiss me. I had to kiss his hat. Seriously......When did my boy grow up?

He's with his best friend, Charlie, and several other of his friends. I know he's fine. He's having a blast! But, his Mama is sittin' here missing her baby and wondering what he's doing. He's probably telling ghost stories, catching fish, and eating lots of hot dogs.

I'm counting down the hours until I pick him up. How will I ever survive him leaving for college? Ok, I'm getting a little ahead of myself.

Father's Day

Today we celebrated Father's Day in Wichita with the Poet's.

We ate at Five Guys Burgers, and then went to All Star Sports for mini golf, games, and a few rides.

The daddies basking in all their glory.

Jake won big time on the ticket machine. He hit the jackpot with 100 tickets!

Paige rode the carousel several times! My favorite part of the day was eating a P.F. Changs that night and getting the Great Wall of Chocolate dessert. YUMMY!

Today was the perfect day! I love just hanging out with my family. I couldn't have asked for a better Daddy for my children. Their little eyes light up when he walks into a room, and my heart melts everytime I see them together. I love this man so much, and want to wish him the best Father's Day ever!

Our Dads

Brad and I have to be some of the luckiest "kids" on the planet. We both have dads that are fun to be around and that we look forward to spending time with. Both dads are very supportive and are great at giving advice. They've always been there for us! Probably one of the most important things both dads taught us, from a very young age, is to LOVE Oklahoma State! Our love for OSU is what took us to college there, and that's where we met. So, ultimately, our dads had a huge part in us getting together! Wow, that's deep.

Happy Father's Day to Larry and Mitch! We love you!

Tennis

Jake has been taking tennis lessons for a few weeks now, and he loves it!

I'm really excited he is enjoying a sport that he can play his whole life.

He is taking lessons with several of his little buds, and that makes it extra fun!
