Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow

We are going to have a white Christmas!!! It started raining ice this morning and by late afternoon it had turned to snow. We stayed inside and made cookies for Santa. I also made a pumpkin cheesecake and a cheese ball to take to OKC tomorrow.....if the weather permits us to go. I heard OKC got the worse winter storm ever recorded in their history!!

Play Date

We hosted a play date this evening. The kids had a blast playing,

and the mommies had fun talking and eating!

The Santa cookie was a huge hit.....especially with the mommies!

Oh, how I love Christmas Pajamas! I am going to take advantage of getting them matching pj's as long as they let me. There will come a point when they are way too cool for that, but until then I will enjoy every moment....

Roping Lessons 101

Rule Number 1: Have an uncle show you the "ropes" of roping.

Rule Number 2: Make sure orange cowboys boots are still

tucked in, and hold the rope up high.

Rule Number 3: Swing higher and faster.

Aim for target, such as a ball.

Rule Number 4: Make sure you look confident
when the rope actually goes around the target.

Jake was 4 years old when Uncle John taught him how to rope. Seeing Paige try to rope made me think back to this day. I guess the cowboy thing is just in their blood....
