This is what ends up happening when Daddy is gone. Both kids end up in bed with me at some point during the night. Paige crawled in at 1:30 am and Jake about 6:00. It's a good thing we have a king size bed!

Spring Recital

Things like dance recitals make me super happy that God gave me a little girl. What is more precious than watching 3-4 year olds sing and dance?

Paige practiced her routine for anyone who would watch. One day I took her shopping and found her in front of a big mirror doing her routine. She loves to show off!

Sometimes I wish I could put a brick on his head to keep him from growing up. He is about to finish his 1st grade year, and my heart hurts just a little. Where has the time gone?

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was a beautiful day! We spent most of the day outside watching Brad and his dad work on the lawn and flower beds. Brad and the kids brought me breakfast in bed, which was amazing!

My baby brought home this flower from school, and she planted it today.

She was so excited to have her very own flower to take care of.

I must be the luckiest gal in the world to be the mother of such sweet children!

Little Bro's MBA

I'm so proud of my little brother, Jay, for graduating with his MBA!

Garth Brooks also graduated that evening! Jay was fortunate enough to get a picture with him from his cell phone. Pretty cool stuff......
