I love to take pictures. Just ask anyone who knows me. They sometimes get annoyed when I bust out the camera. Well, I'm about to get a lot more annoying. Christmas came early, and Santa brought me a new camera. I mean, a real camera. A big camera. A camera that I haven't been able to put down. I'm so in love! I want to learn everything there is about photography and photo shop. My friend, Trisha, is gonna have to help me out. Hint. Hint.

Awana

Jake and Paige enjoy going to Awana every Wednesday night. I love this program! It's so amazing to hear them say their bible verses each week. They look so forward to going, and it gives Brad and I a chance to go to dinner by ourselves. Wednesday nights are good around here!

A Nice Evening

The weather has been amazing in the evenings. It's so nice to sit outside and watch the kids play. They love our new driveway. There is plenty of room to ride their bikes and run around. As you can see, even Brad likes to play outside!

Cherokee Strip

Last weekend was the Cherokee Strip Golf Tournament, which benefits the Opportunity Center here in Ponca City. I was on the Silent Auction committee, and had tons of fun! This picture was in the paper to promote the Silent Auction. The auction raised over $21,000!

Firetruck Ride

Our group of friends got together at a charity auction and all bid on a firetruck ride. Our fourteen children thought they had won the jackpot! After the tour of the fire station and the ride on the firetruck we ate dinner with the fireman.

Jake and Brad got to ride in the front seat and turn on the siren!

They also took us up in the ladder.

It was a little to high for me, but the kids enjoyed it.

Season Opener

I love football season!!! Yesterday was perfect football weather, and the game couldn't have been better. We defeated Washington State 65-17.

We were also able to meet Walt Garrison, who was at OSU the same time as my dad. He went on to play for the Dallas Cowboys. Brad was pretty excited to meet him!

Highlight of the Day

Jake got in the car yesterday and the first thing out of his mouth was, "Mom, I got chased by a girl on the playground and IT WAS AWESOME!"

When I picked him up today he said, "Mom, that same girl chased me again today and I LIKED IT!"
