Paige's Preschool Fieldtrip
Against my better judgment I volunteered to go on the preschool field trip to Mazzios. It was like herding cats. Imagine 35 preschoolers making their own pizza and waiting their turn to become the chef. Honestly, it wasn't that bad.
Paigie is up front.
it's preschool claustrophobia!
Paige's class.
They are very sweet kids, and I feel fortunate to have her in such a great school!

All too Quickly
I have been going through some mixed emotions lately. Our move to Ponca City is coming all too quickly. We had a realtor come last week and give us a heads up on what we need to do to get our house ready to sell. We've been in this house for 9 years, and we've taken very good care of it, but a few things need to be done. We want it in tip-top shape. I love this house! This house is full of memories and love. I almost feel guilty for selling it. I know we have a beautiful house waiting on us in Ponca, and I love that house too, but it doesn't make getting rid of this one any easier. I can just see myself driving by this house every time I come to Tulsa. Yep, I will. I'm not even going to deny it. I am just praying that the new owner loves it as much as we do. We hope to have a "For Sale" sign in the front yard by the end of the month. That will bring tears I'm sure.
I'm standing in front of the SOLD sign, but you can't see it. We were soooo excited! Our first night in the house I remember Brad and I laying on the living room floor with no furniture in the room and thinking we were the luckiest people in the world. He looked at me and said, "Can you see me giving horsie back rides in this room?" And, he did......a few years later.
Here's a scan of part of a scrapbook page I did after we bought this house.

Time with Bug
I love spending time alone with my Buggie. It's not very often that I get to hang out with him when it's just the two of us. During all those snow days when school was cancelled I decided to make it a special day for us. I took him to see Alvin and the Chipmunks, then to lunch, and then to shop. I think he could have done without the shopping! That was not his favorite part, except when we looked at toys.
He is at such a fun age! He is very inquisitive, curious, and always wants to learn something new. I look forward to many more dates with my little guy!

Date Night and Celebrities
Last night was date night. We got all dressed up, well sort of. We both showered, and I wore lipstick. Being that it was a big night for us we (well, I) decided to break out the camera and take pictures with the kids.
Pretty good, huh?
I love that little look on her face!
My heart melts....
My heart melts....
My favorite people in the whole world.
My sharp shooter of a husband!
And, this was the highlight!!!!!! I met Erin from the show SunSet Tan. She was eating at Los Cabos sitting at the booth next to us. She was just as nice in person as she is on the show. After all, it is a reality show.
Can my smile get any BIGGER?

Hair Twister
My baby is a hair twister. Sometimes she twists it so tight that she can't get her finger out. You can guarantee that if she has her milk, she's twisting her hair!
She does come by it honestly.....I'm a hair twister too and didn't even realize it until several people have pointed it out to me. Like Mother, Like Daughter!
