Thankful
This is the time of year we should all reflect on what we are thankful for. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday! The whole reason for getting together on this special day is to celebrate family, eat turkey and pumpkin pie, and think about all of our blessings.
I have so much to be thankful for. I have a husband who I'm still crazy in love with, a son who is so special that I know he is destined to be something great, and a daughter who is so full of life I can't help but smile every time she enters the room. I love this little family so much that my heart aches.
I also am thankful for my parents and my brothers. My family has always been very close, and I know that any one of them would be here for me in a heartbeat if I needed them to be. I actually look forward to spending time with each of them. It's not a "chore" or something I feel like I have to do because I'm supposed to. I am also thankful that I am getting a wonderful and gracious new stepmom. My dad has found an amazing lady to share his life with.
I am thankful for my in-laws. I married into a loving family who treats me as a daughter and not an in-law. I have a sister-in-law who is the only real sister I've ever had. I sometimes forget that we didn't grow up together.
I am so thankful for a wonderful group of girlfriends! I am blessed to have friends that I consider family. It is rare in life to find even one friend that will always be there for you, and I have found several.
I am thankful that on Thanksgiving day I will be reminded once again how blessed I am to be sharing that day with our familes as we fill our plates with yummy food, sit around and talk about old times, watch the kids play, and miss the loved ones that won't be there.
I hope each one of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!!!!!!!!

Last Home Game
The game against Colorado last night was a little more exciting then it should have been. We should have beat them pretty bad, but with our star quarterback out we had a lot to overcome. After several ups and downs the Cowboys finally beat Colorado 31-28.
Someone parachuted down with the game ball. That was a pretty cool way to start the game!
My Brothers
We have had such an amazing season! Not just the football team, but also the fans. I love everything about football....the smell, the weather, the hotdogs, the tailgating, and seeing all that ORANGE in one place. It's been so fun to have season tickets this year (thank you Dad!!) and to be able to see my family almost every weekend.

Office Space
Today Brad and I went to Ponca City to visit with the hospital CEO and to check out possibilities for his new office. The more we are in our future hometown the more confident we are that we made the right decision. We went to lunch with Becky and Craig before heading home. It was a quick trip, but we enjoyed the "grown up" time we had together.
On another sweet note my husband went to the grocery store for me after work yesterday. He also came home with these.....
I am one lucky gal!!!

Sibling Rivalry
Now that Paige is getting older I see how Jake and Paige's relationship has changed. I used to hear Jake say, "Oh Mommy, isn't Sissy cute?" Now it's, "MOM, Sis won't leave me alone!"
And, I don't know how many times a day I hear Paige say, "Bubby, eve me alone!" or "Bubby, me do it." But, even as they argue or irritate each other, they have such a loving bond. Just as I think I can't take anymore fighting they will start laughing and playing together.
This morning Paige asked me to hold her, but I was getting ready to take a shower. She crawled up into bed and said, "Bubby, hold me." It was precious, and it almost made me cry. I took this picture after she laid in his lap and he started rubbing her hair.

When they start fighting tomorrow I will just think about this moment and remember that it's just a little sibling rivalry....
